Will you survive the long HOT summer of ‘08?
Today, in Akron, OH we are a blustery 50 degrees that feels like 35. Yet, before June is out, we’ll be in the 90’s and have one of the longest, hottest summers on record. Here is what you need to know.

Now I again must stress, I’m not gloom and doom, just a practical realist that wants you to get prepared, to escape the rat race once and for all, and if you follow the 7 Steps in the Ben Suarez book, you’ll be on your way.
You don’t need to get into hoarding, so don’t storm your local warehouse club, but here’s a question for you: do you think food prices (and gas prices) and household supplies are going to COME DOWN in cost? This should be a no brainer; to have a reserve on hand.
In Winds of Change, I wrote about the American infrastructure coming under attack by lack of attention and natural disasters. Some pundits are saying the worst drought in history is over for parts of the country…yea? would the Everglades in FL be burning away if the water level were pre drought “normal”?
The most critical infrastructure we have is our power grid. Do you remember the big black out of a couple of years ago, the one that started right here in Akron thanks to FIRST ENERGY? FE used to be Ohio Edison, a regulated industry, regulated for the public good, supposedly. Now it is a commodity and FE has a responsibility to it’s shareholders.
Water will soon pass from “utility” to a commodity before long too as did the phone company, electric company and natural gas companies. Anyhow,
Get yourself a generator. In fact get two. One to produce electricity when the brown outs come, to keep at least your freezer and refrigerator working and the other kind of a generator should be a CASH generator.
